Information technology is something that is common
in our life nowadays… IT is related to technologies whereby it is concerned about networking,
computer, web design, internet, hardware, software and so on.
According to

telecommunications equipment to store,
retrieve, transmit and manipulate data. Furthermore, as said by
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), IT is broadest sense encompasses all
aspects of computing technology.
It shows that what make IT difference with
Computer Science whereby in computer science it is deepest sagacity to cover of
computing technology aspects. In addition, IT people focus on satisfying human
needs that arise from computing technology.
Do you care about IT?
Yeah, we should care about this.. here are the reasons..
IT is very important in our life because most of the
time what we do it is related to technology. It is made our life easier and
also efficient in terms of using of time. For example, hand phone, microwave,
TV, and many others.
Additionally, we need to understand five categories of human mind, because it is related with IT how the computer process the data until wisdom.
According to Ackoff, Data
is raw that doesn’t have meaning, but it can be exist in any form. Data is the
process to create information which is used as input. Data can be in the form
of numbers, characters, symbols, pictures and sounds. Data doesn't have
meaningful so that people will not understand from that.
Information is data
that is organized and meaningful which is used to as output of the processing.
Information becomes knowledge which has structure, growth and system. It is
data that is meaningful and very useful.
Furthermore, knowledge is a determined
process whereby it consists of appropriate the information. Next, understanding
is about probabilistic process whereby people need to concern regarding
cognitive and analytical. Lastly, wisdom is an extrapolative and
non-probabilistic process.
